Mostly because I'm surprised we've never had this kind of meme before. We love high school AUs. We love romance. Why not combine those into a glorious mix?

Your teen years are important, formatively speaking. You're trying to find out just where you belong and what kind of person you're going to be. This already daunting task is complicated by the soul-sucking demon known as high school. If you weren't having a hard time before coming here, you certainly are now.

Add into this mixture raging hormones, and baby, you've got a misery stew cooking. But it's not all bad! Sometimes high school crushes can be sweet, and the occasional high school relationship lasts.

So whether you're too cool or distracted for romance or always on to the next good looking stud, come on down and try to navigate the romantic labyrinth that is the halls of The Love Hotel High.

Andi sighed and took a seat at a desk in the dim classroom, resting her heavy booted feet atop. "Me. You mean, looking out for me?"

The goth raised a brow. She usually kept to herself, but to see someone care for her like this and barely even know her... was kinda heartwarming.

"Yes. You." Marie said, looking away a bit. "You're always diving away to do...something and always show back up later like you've been in a fight or something." She looked back at Andi, a look of concern on her face.

"If something's wrong, can you try to confide in someone?"

She stretched further on the desk. "Maybe I have, what about it. You gonna tell on me?" She feigned faux fear before having a chuckle. Andi cracked her knuckles, one at a time.

"No. No, I don't think I can..." She sighed. deep down, she really wish she had someone to confide to about her secret... but she knew, for their sake, that she could not. "And believe me, it's for the best."

"It can't be that bad, can it?" Marie asked. Though, it seemed that Andi was dead set on keeping her distance. "Well... If you change your mind... I'm here?" She smiled a bit before she started to leave.

"Sure. Whatever. Thanks for stopping by." Andi said, seemingly without care. In truth, she could use a friend to talk about her.... stuation. But, the risks were too great. She sighed as the door shut behind her. Alone at last. She checked her smart phone. Some super powered goons were robbing a bank downtown. Who knew if The Avengers or whoever were on their way. She needed to put her power to use. Relaxing, her clothes melted into a mass black ooze that seemed to flow over her then naked body, flowing over her, covering her face, leaving sharp oblong spots over her eyes. Spikes emerging on certain junctures of her body, keeping wth her sense of fashion.

Andi stood, completely covered by her secret alien 'friend' and ready for combat.

Things wouldn't be so smoothly as that. As Marie left, she realized she forgot something and started to go back in...

Only to witness Andi's transformation. It was shocking and, and the same time, surprising. She wasn't sure WHAT to do. Even more, she wasn't sure if Andi saw. Hopefully, when she checked next Andi would be gone so she could let everything sink in.

Andi, now in her guise of Mania was ready to swing out the window... when she noticed Marie standing there, gaping. Her white covered eyes bulged. "Oh shit..." The goth super teen panicked, not sure what to do.

"Uh, as you can see, I, uh, was just Andi in disguise. She's off in class somewhere, so you can just go away now, please..."

"Andi... I... what...? What's going on? I don't... is she...?" Marie stammered, shocked.

Slowly, she shut the door, trying to process everything. She wanted answers, but she wasn't sure what to think!

The goth teen gulped. Looks like she had little else to calm Marie down, thankful that the door was closed. The symbiotic goo receded from her face, unmasking the super heroine as Andi all along. She slowly approached Marie, arms lowered.

"Marie... relax. It's me, Andi. I have a bit of a, uh, double life." She gently put a costumed hand over Marie's shoulder. "I got kinda, bonded, to this thing... an alien symbiote. It gives me strength and powers and stuff... and I use it to fight crime as Mania. You may have read about me in the papers." the goth teen's purple lips curled into a smirk.

Marie started to calm down, finally realizing that Andi really was this person before her. Feeling her hand on her shoulder, she did calm down a bit, letting everything sink in.

"So, you're... a super hero?" she summarized. "That's why..." that's why she wanted her to leave. "...I'm sorry. I ruined it for you, didn't I?"

Andi only smiled. "Yeah, but... don't worry. Just as long as you promise to not tell ANYONE. Please. You wouldn't do that, though, right?" Andi sweat a little bit. She didn't know Marie that well, but she seemed nice enoguh to not reveal her secret identity.

"I promise. I'm... annoying and pestering, but I don't break promises or reveal secrets." Marie said, smiling. "'sides, you do look quite nice..." She couldn't help but grin sheepishly at her compliment.

Andi smiled at her response. Happy to trust someone like Marie. "Thank you so much..." The goth grinned, using her other arm to flex an alien encased muscular arm. "It does enhance me quite a bit, don't you think?"

"Ha! It really does!" Marie said, letting her hands give the muscles a squeeze. "Must be quite strong, then...!"

"You bet I am." Andi chuckled, using her arms to embrace Marie and lift the girl easily over her head. "I'm super strong, goes with being a super hero."

Marie couldn't help but laugh at what was happening. From freaking out to enjoying herself. As well, it seemed that Andi was starting to loosen up as well.

"It feels liberating, doesn't it?" she asked her. She waited until she was lowered enough to hug her.

Andi blushed, caught off by that hug. Marie genuinely... really... wanted to be her friend. And being a lonesome heroic avenger or whatever had made her feel isolated. Marie was open enough to accept her condition. The goth hugged Marie back resting her head on the other teen's shoulder.

"Yes. It really does... I've had to keep so many secrets like this..."

Marie smiled as she felt Andi return the hug and rest her head on her shoulder. She hadn't expected all of this to happen, but, in a way? She was happy it did.

"I won't pry on anything you do want kept, but if there's anything you want to tell me that you can't tell others? I'm here for you..."

Andi gave a joyful hum as they continued to embrace. The physical warmth between them felt so.... good.

"That's very... reassuring, Marie. The life of a super hero can be really lonely." She sighed. Fights. Doing good. but less friends and a social life. With great power came great lameness. Unconsciously, or perhaps brought on by her symbiote, her head cuddled against Marie's.

Marie blinked as Andi started to cuddle against her. Slowly, she started to do the same.

"You're not alone anymore, Andi." she murmured. She got a little curious and began to raise a hand up to run through Andi's short hair, as if reassuring her.

Andi blushed lightly at Marie's actions. She didn't know the blue haired girl that well, but... she liked her. She liked talking to her, she liked holding her... she just liked her.

"... thank you." The goth whispered, purple colored lips pecking Marie's cheek.

Marie's cheeks flushed at Andi's peck. Her heart felt a flutter at the action and it made her smile wider at that. She didn't know Andi as well, but it felt like they knew each other for the longest time.

"You're welcome. You're so very welcome." She whispered, returning the kiss.

The super heroine continued to hold Marie and reciprocate that kiss. Andi wasn't sure about how she felt about sex and who she was attracted to... this was high school, and a lot of things about life confused her. Alien symbiote not withstanding. What she did know, was that she... really, really liked Marie.

Andi placed her bright lips over Marie's, hands moving along her back and neck in soothing motions.

Marie was a little surprised by Andi's next action, but her hands rubbing her neck and back reassured her as she returned the kiss, her hands moving in kind.

It was funny how things turned out, but if Andi was happy, she would continue to make her happy, no matter what.

Andi hummed in appreciation as her actions were reciprocated. Now all she wanted was some comfort, some connection with this girl she was growing to like more. The goth soon extending her tongue to try and meet Marie's, all while the symbiote covering her body receded to her waist, revealing her bust to the blue haired girl.
