The premise of the meme is simple. Two characters, lovers, have been separated for a time. How long is up to you, as is the reason for the separation. Was it unwilling - an imprisonment, a required journey - or because of a choice one of the characters made? The reason may, of course, color the reunion, and somebody may be pretty miffed, with good reason. Still, the theme is the same: intimacy after being apart.
This meme is mostly geared towards being a smut meme, but nobody will judge you for just doing so heavy fluff.

Then you can stay a while. [ And so would begin the ever familiar dance around of how long Petra would stay in his quarters. Although as usual the offer would be extended but Levi wouldn't press it.

Once he's sure they're both done and the water temperature was beginning to dip to the point where it would no longer be pleasant in a short while, he gets to his feet to get out of the tub. He retrieves one for himself and another for her, which he holds out for her to take as soon as she follows him. ]

[She nods at that, acknowledging the offer, though not quite accepting it. Petra's in a good mood, but staying for very long was pushing the limits on what they were supposed to be. It wasn't as if there was a relationship between them, and Petra's wary of acting like there was something beyond what they did have.

Petra doesn't linger in the tub, waiting for Levi to step out of the tub before rising up herself. While he fetches the towels, she wrings the tips of her hair out, letting the water drip back into the tub before accepting the towel with a quiet thank you and carefully stepping out herself. With her hair mostly dry, it doesn't take long for her to dry herself, and if Levi doesn't stop her, the first thing she'll do when she's properly dried off is the leave the bathroom and track down her discarded clothes. It was too chilly to just hang about in the nude.]

[ Of course he would have liked her to stay naked just a little longer, but he doesn't say as such. He probably didn't need to, she knew him well enough in that regard by now. Levi doesn't stop her, focused instead on drying himself off and then fetching clean underwear and a shirt. It wasn't that late in the evening but there seemed little point in redressing when he had nowhere to be this evening and when he felt like just relaxing for the rest of it.

After tidying away his discarded clothes from earlier, he sits on the edge of the bed to watch Petra. She hadn't outright accepted his offer as usual and so he would just observe, obviously expecting her to leave but seeming not bothered never the less. ]

[She's in no hurry to get dressed, honestly. Once her pants and shirt are on, she doesn't bother buttoning her shirt or finish doing up her fly, taking a moment to pour the last dregs of tea into his cup. She takes a sip from the cup and makes a face at the temperature, the tea long since having lost its heat.]

Do you want me to bring you another pot, or are you going to bed?

[She's well aware of the fact that he's watching her, but it makes her feel a little shy, a little obtrusive.]

Bed probably. [ Is his reply as he gets to his feet and moves to slide an arm around her waist, pulling her gently but firmly towards him and said bed once he'd taken the tea cup from her and set it down again. She smells good, not that she didn't always but especially so after that bath. Whether she wanted to stay for much longer or not, Levi at least wanted to hold her for a bit. ]

[Mmm, body odors. She's pliant in his arms, laughing as she feels his fingers move across her waist. It tickles, and she only has one assumption as he moves her back to his bed.]

You want it again?

[Well, she's never really stayed to cuddle before, so the thought that he might just want to hold her doesn't occur to her. But she's not struggling or making a fuss, shifting to kiss his cheek.]

[ Yep, yum. Well, he wouldn't exactly say no to more sex if that was really offered to him, of course, but that wasn't his intention. ] Not exactly.

[ When he tugs her back down with him it would be easy enough to assume another round was what he was after, what with the slightly predatory way that he does things. But in the end all he does is pull her close, encouraging her to rest her head on his torso as his wiry muscled arms embrace her. It wasn't exactly the norm of Captain Levi to want to cuddle, but there it was. If it was crossing another boundary then so be it, Petra was soft and warm and smelled good. ]

[It's a strange behavior, and honestly, Petra doesn't know what to make of it. There's even a bit of pink on her cheeks as she settles beside him, resting her head on his shoulder, laying a hand on his chest. This was exactly the kind of thing she had avoided all of her life, choosing to bail on her partner rather than get involved with anything besides immediate release. She can't hide the slight stiffness in her shoulders, not entirely certain what to do next.]

Weirdo...

[It was entirely too comfortable, and that was sending warning bells off in her head.]

Apparently you don't mind weirdos.

[ She did keep coming back after all. Observant as he is he doesn't fail to notice her pink cheeks or the stiffness in her shoulders. Levi, on the other hand, was as calm as ever, acting like this was the most natural thing in the world as he rubs her shoulders and back a little as he holds her. ]

[She did keep coming back, and though she tried to justify it by being sex and sex only, there was more to it. Though things had kept growing in an almost natural progression, Petra had done her best to control it. Levi wasn't helping things any, and Petra knows that she should be getting up and leaving before it goes any further.]

I'm going to fall asleep if you do that.

[Her mild complaint is her only attempt at defense, curling in just a little closer to him.]

So?

[ His lack of concern over that is all too obvious and Petra's lack of protest and her moving closer to him only encourages him to keep doing what he's doing. Levi presses a kiss to the top of her head. He wouldn't stop her if she really wanted to get up and leave. ]

[She should get up and leave. That'd be the proper thing to do when your superior officer was cuddling you when you were both obviously underdressed. But she she only moves to lightly swat at his chest, a little scowl on her face.]

Don't let me fall asleep.

I might be the one who does.

[ Is his response, lazy and absentmindedly combing his fingers through her hair now. He doesn't seem bothered over his admittance. Levi was a light sleeper and usually it took him a long time to nod off, but tonight he was tired and Petra's presence was something that he found soothing... Well, at least it was when it wasn't arousing him. ]

You must be getting old, then.

[She's still expecting for this to turn into sex. It was the usual way of things. But she's not initiating it right now, flattening her palm on his chest and letting her gaze wander over his chest and throat and sighing a little at the way he's combing her hair.]

Feels nice.

Didn't think old men were your type in that case.

[ Not sex exactly but he does lean down to kiss her on the mouth for a little while, still threading his fingers through her hair as he does so. He didn't seem in much of a hurry to turn their embrace into sex for once. ]

Good.

[He gets an eye roll for that, but she's happy to participate in the kissing, shifting to give his neck a bit of a break. She feels like purring almost--she would be purring very loudly if she was a cat. But instead, she'll give a contented little grunt, breaking the kiss only to pres another to his jaw, as if to test his intentions.]

[ Levi is pretty content himself, his free hand encircling her waist as she shifts to kiss him from an easier angle. His intentions lie solely on relaxing with her despite what she may think, but he does eye her as she testingly presses her kiss to his jaw. ]

After something?

[She rests her forehead against his, smiling softly. It isn't as if she didn't enjoy just laying next to him, but it wasn't usual. So Petra's making it usual.]

You're not?

[He had just gotten clean, but it wasn't as if he'd need a second full on bath.]

[ If he was honest with himself he'd admit that he'd missed seeing her smile like that... He hadn't exactly seen a lot of it during their almost month long "spat". Oddly, he really wasn't after anything this time around, he just wanted her presence. ]

You make me seem like such a dirty fucking perv.

[ Levi doesn't sound in the least bit offended either way, just reaches to stroke her cheek as she presses her forehead to his and looks her in the eyes. ] I'm not.

[Petra laughs at that, a soft chuckle.]

Because you are a dirty fucking perv. And weird, to boot.

[And that didn't even begin to describe Levi. But even so, she's still with him. She reaches up to rest her hand on his, lacing her fingers with his as she lays back down on the bed. She might be positioning herself in just the right spot to be able to lightly blow in his ear... out of affection, of course.]

[ She gets an affectionate ass pinch for that, after he winds his free arm around her waist again. ] And yet you're still here. [ And he's glad of it, although he doesn't say it, just quietly strokes her waist where his hand is now resting after the pinching of her backside. ]

[Her first response is to squeak a little as he pinches her--she doesn't want him to know that she actually likes it when he does that, and she looks away just slightly to try and hide the fact that she's just a little flustered.]

So I am. [There was no logical reason for it, besides the fact that she enjoyed the sex. It didn't explain how or why she was currently laying beside him.]

Who's the real weirdo then? [ His reply is murmured in low tones against her skin, where he moves to press a few gentle kisses to her neck. Levi couldn't help himself really when she had that cute and unusually flustered look on her face. He squeezes their hands where their fingers are still twined together. ]

You are, of course. [Her voice is a little low when she speaks. Maybe the way he's kissing her is riling her up, just a little. He was being awfully affectionate for someone who just wanted cuddles.]

Thought you said you weren't looking for anything. [She runs her thumb along his, shifting just a little closer.]

[ He makes a "tch" type of sound at her answer, clearly not phased though. As he continues to kiss her neck and she moves closer to him, Levi reaches to tug the sheets up around them both, just to make things a little more cosy... ]
