the back together meme a smut/intimacy reunion theme
The premise of the meme is simple. Two characters, lovers, have been separated for a time. How long is up to you, as is the reason for the separation. Was it unwilling - an imprisonment, a required journey - or because of a choice one of the characters made? The reason may, of course, color the reunion, and somebody may be pretty miffed, with good reason. Still, the theme is the same: intimacy after being apart.
This meme is mostly geared towards being a smut meme, but nobody will judge you for just doing so heavy fluff.
[Peter's response was cold, attempting to shut down any attempts by his own brain to be roped into Roman Godfrey's life again. A bigger part of him than he would've liked to admit wanted to reach out, like a desire to touch an electrified fence just for the fucking thrill. He wanted to tell Roman that everything was cool, to get high and drive around and just laugh at how the world was going to shit around them.]

honestly? no. there are a couple interesting parts but mostly it was actually worse than I feared :/
[Roman said, a statement that was as much a demand as anything else. He wasn't going to let him go, wasn't going to let Peter slink away again, even if the anger and the hurt that welled up inside of him almost wanted to push him away to make a point: try and pretend that he didn't still need him.
Worse still, was how he felt like Peter was judging him for becoming what he was. It made his fingers tighten, gaze briefly flickering to the pulse he could damn near see under thin skin. But if there was one thing he would never do, it was let himself hurt Peter, not really. Punch him, leave bruises under where his hands gripped too tight, but not with fangs and teeth.]
I didn't make the wrong choice.
[It's anyone's guess who he's trying to convince.]
[Peter had seen the movement of Roman's eyes, could smell the hunger radiating off of him. The only other upir he'd encountered in his past had been beautiful like him, overtly sexual and complete fucking sadists. They didn't just hunger for blood, there was a...darkness to them. A desire for everything fucked up in the world.
He wondered if they had been like Roman once. Determined to be different, to be the goddamn hero. He wondered what had been the thing that sent them over the edge of depravity.]
You're going to kill someone if you don't do what you have to do. It's like trying to hold your breath, eventually you pass out and your body makes you breathe.
there's some interesting moments, but overall.....
[Roman swallows at Peter's words, shifts uncomfortably. Standing under a streetlamp, and his other hand moves to curve long fingers up against the line of his scruffy jaw. Touching. Unsure how much he was allowed, but Peter was here, and it had been so long and he just needed... him.]
I don't want to hurt people. I don't know how the fuck--
[He shakes his head, bowing so his hair falls a little over his forehead. It was true, an intensity in the words, an almost pleading look to those too bright greens that flickered with eerie cadence in the dark.]
